It seems that many lifestyle webmasters are trying to take advantage of the CBS Swingtown forum by posting ADs in their signatures. Take for example some members as well as the owner of the Swingers Board who have gone on to promote themselves on the Swingtown forums. However, they quickly found out that their posts are getting deleted. Most wonder why, some keep doing it and others even brag about being covert and changing their online identity to be able to post an AD to their favorite board as someone else. It doesn’t take long to find out that they are breaking the rules, a large white box above all posts clearly states: Please obey the rules of this community (no spam, ads, rudeness, profanity, adult content or irrelevant posts), but most of all, have fun. This makes for a fun time watching the swingers post ADs and then I’m sure, the non-swingers hit the ‘report a violation’ button…round and round we go. One post still alive at the time of this writting was from the people organizing Swingfest 2008, it was still there with a signature that clearly advertises a link to the Swingfest site…it may be interesting to see how much longer the post will remain up?

Since this movie was filmed and released in the Netherlands, it is sub-titled in English. Apparently, the director is part of a very well to do family and was able to shoot this movie in his uncles mansion…can you say low budget? You can start by reading several reviews by members of the Internet Movie Database (IMDB). This movie is available for purchase on Amazon in PAL version as well as the sub-titled English version. A poll taken by some users of the site LavaLife showed that the single baby boomers are happy with they way things are going for them. The good news is that more of them are sexually active, looking for threesomes and enjoy sex more now than they did before they hit 40. A couple days ago an email was sent from NASCA promoting a new documentary film that had been in the works for the past five years. Surely we were well aware of this fact and the anticipation was killing us!?! Not only had we never heard of this video, but it turns out that this video has been for sale as a DVD online for several years now and is not all that new after all. We wish they would have been honest with us instead of treating us like idiots and trying to pawn an already existing video as a new video. In fact, what is new is the ability to view the video online (speaker warning: this is one of those sites that turns on the music with no way to turn it off) for a mere $6.95 USD instead of having to purchase the DVD at well over $20 USD. Trailers for the video were available on sites like Myspace and mcomet but for some unknown reason were taken offline. Finally, a little further research shows that this film is owned by the lifestyles organisation so it should be a very well made video, however it’s too bad they resorted to this kind of advertising in order to increase their sales.

This site is not even 3 months old, and we have managed 100 posts so far and May is not quite over just yet. Means that we have been posting on average of just over 1 news item per day, and my backlog of content is still quite long with no sign of letting up. Every week we get about 5 or 6 new sources of swingers and lifestyle items that need to be researched and posted on the site. To give you and example of the work involved, we spend at a minimum of 1 hour researching each and every source of news posted on this site. Just to make sure we’ve covered all the angles and found any all other sources of the same story so you can get a full picture of each story.

The International Lifestyle Association (ILA) is a nonprofit corporation registered in Nevada, USA and run by a Board of Directors. A quick look at the board of directors includes a who’s who of lifestyle business owners and at first glance does what NASCA fails to do. The site is full of informative articles and resources. Skip the regular section and go straight to the members section which is currently not protected by a login so you can get to and read everything that members have access to. Membership prices are reasonable and their members list is exhaustive. The only gripes I would have is that the shopping link is dead as well as many of the businesses listed in their ‘links to websites’ are currently dead as most of the businesses it seems, have gone out of business. The video link as well as 2 of the 3 magazines listed are no longer operational, for example. Well worth the visit and you may find yourself spending many hours going through the many offerings here.
This is not a new phenomenon, even in computer circles people want to copy what is successful. I am almost positive that all the owners of these sites are or once were members of Adult FriendFinder. Tired of paying high fees for the right to view profiles and and even send messages to other sexy members, they thought to themselves, surely there must be a better way. What you end up with is a long list of swingers dating sites with very few members. If you are a member of these sites and aren’t getting results, blame the low numbers of members not the site itself. Is it just me or is something missing here considering their mission statement, perhaps the abstinence-only-until marriage program is a conflict of interest with swinging? It’s worth a visit anyway considering the wealth of sexual knowledge available on this site.
Well, it had to be done and someone went and did it, taking everyone’s favourite catch phrase from the community and using it as a catch line. There is a forum for big people and their admirers to gather and discuss the finer things in life. Meet Chubby Swingers - Not Ken & Barbie! A small but growing community of some 9 thousand members and almost just as many posts. The new members gallery is a popular feature and at first glance, people aren’t being shy about posting their best candid poses. Like many sites, this one has a calendar of events available for members to post but it goes ignored as there are no entries to be found in the near future.
Damien Priest is the owner of the now defunct website holidaytrade.com which allows fellow RVers to `swap` motor-homes in order to afford them a trip to regions they may not have otherwise visited. So what does swapping RVs have to do with swapping partners? Well, Damien has written an article `RV Owners Are Swappers - Not Swingers` and posted it to be reproduced on various other websites and he uses a swinging reference, quite effectively I might add, to get some attention to his home exchange website. OK, mental checklist time…we are swingers, we own an RV, we`ve swapped partners before, but never swapped an RV yet, hurray…something we haven`t tried yet!
