The economy being what it currently is in the US, travel agents have had to make cuts to entice travelers to, well travel. The Southern Caribbean Cruise being held by French Connection Events is no different, and the price has been slashed by almost $200 per person! The Southern Caribbean Cruise departs from Puerto Rico on November 15, 2009 and cruises for 8 wonderful days and 7 glorious nights. The ship docks at several ports of call in the Caribbean during the week, but all the excitement will be happening on ship. Nightclub, bar, fitness room, theater, music, casino…it’s all inclusive. There is a mix and mingle room on-board the ship, private parties, private land excursions and the list of swinger friendly events goes on. After investing time into researching this story we ran into a wall. It’s the first time it’s happened and we aren’t sure what to do so we present what we have found so far. As you can see by the bad advertisement included in this post, the only details available are the name of the event (Milf Week), the location (Hedonism III) and the dates (January 2009). Not sure how to go about booking this trip and it took some digging around to find the travel agents organizing this group and there it was once again. Since being in the lifestyle it seems that for every hundred people you meet, one of them will be a travel agent and promise you great rates if you book with them. This trip is no different, being organized by a ‘lifestyle couple’ that has a really amateurish website promoting the entire trip. Great news, we found that they have a Yahoo group for swingers attending the trip to meet others going on the trip. After two requests for access to this group so we could finish writing this short article, and clearly told them we would be promoting their group on this site, this is what they sent us: “We do like to keep the site solely for those who signed up with us. However we are sure we will be easily identifiable and look forward to meeting you in Hedo”. Sounds a little strange to me that they would chose to not have free advertising from another lifestyle business. What are they hiding? Are there actually any members on the yahoo group at all to discuss with? Hmmm, is the economy crash in the US causing this group to have low bookings just like every other travel agent in the country? This could be a sign of things to come.

The Caliente nude resort located in Land O’ Lakes, Florida has been handed a suspension by the American Association for Nude Recreation (AANR) for hosting lifestyle friendly parties. It seems, the problem is they advertise these events on websites that are swinger friendly, and the association, which bills itself and it’s members as family friendly has started an investigation on the matter. Damien Priest is the owner of the now defunct website holidaytrade.com which allows fellow RVers to `swap` motor-homes in order to afford them a trip to regions they may not have otherwise visited. So what does swapping RVs have to do with swapping partners? Well, Damien has written an article `RV Owners Are Swappers - Not Swingers` and posted it to be reproduced on various other websites and he uses a swinging reference, quite effectively I might add, to get some attention to his home exchange website. OK, mental checklist time…we are swingers, we own an RV, we`ve swapped partners before, but never swapped an RV yet, hurray…something we haven`t tried yet!

Hollywood, Florida has a swingers resort that some claim feels just like visiting Hedo II. The Rooftop Resort is a nudist and swinger friendly clothing optional vacation spot located in sourthern Florida. However, if you are a local or are staying in the area, they also offer day passes as well. Located close to the Miami airport as well as the Fort Lauderdale airport, unlike being in Jamaica, there will be lots for you to do and see if you decide to visit this resort. The newsletter sign-up doesn’t work, so don’t bother trying to enter your email address. You’ve read about it on this site already but it seems that all is not going smoothly over at the newest Illusions resort. Here is the latest news from the resort: “The new Lifestyles Disco Club, delayed because of delivery problems (doesn’t it always happen!) is close to completion. The missing items are now in Mexico City waiting for delivery to Cozumel and Aura. The disco will be simply beautiful, enticing!
There will be many group tours in 2008 and other groups are booking as you read this. Traditionally, the group tours, such as over the 4th of July, Halloween and the Holiday Season, are sellouts. The message is - make your reservations as early as you can!
April marked the beginning of Aura Cozumel as a lifestyles couples’ resort. The April promotion special of the 7th Night/8th Day Free when 6 nights are paid has been extended for all reservations with arrival in May.

This is just the kind of place that we would fit right in with cabins, RV lots, tent spots, permanent lots, snowbird rates, and even daily entrance fees. Pool, club, food, drinks, and even bike rallies are just some of the offerings that Live Oak Resort has to offer. Website has lots of great pictures as well as more information than you will need in order to decide if this place will be right for you. And, it passes our number criteria for a resort, to have the resort map available online so we can study it before arriving…job well done!
