What’s In A Swingers Name?

Saturday, October 3rd, 2009

A survey was conducted by Fever Parties to find out how likely you are to be a swinger based on your name. Mark Roberts of Fever Parties, revealed that your name can let you know how likely you are to be a swinger…how cool is that? We can’t find the source of the poll itself and can only report the news articles that discuss the findings. Catherine and Paul, if you are reading this you are the most likely candidates to be swingers according

SIECUS Doesn’t ‘Swing’ That Way

Monday, May 5th, 2008

Before I move on the the swingers content, let’s find out what this organisation is all about: “SIECUS-the Sexuality Information and Education Council of the United States-has served as the national voice for sexuality education, sexual health, and sexual rights for over 40 years. SIECUS affirms that sexuality is a fundamental part of being human, one that is worthy of dignity and respect. We advocate for the right of all people to accurate information, comprehensive education about sexuality, and sexual health services. SIECUS works to create a world that ensures social justice and sexual rights.” Wow, I’m sold and if I were American it would be that much better…and oh, I lied about the swingers stuff. Yes, the sad part about what could of been a fantastic resource for swingers is that searching the site results in nothing, nada, zero, zilch, zip - no content whatsoever on the subject of swinging. Is it just me or is something missing here considering their mission statement, perhaps the abstinence-only-until marriage program is a conflict of interest with swinging? It’s worth a visit anyway considering the wealth of sexual knowledge available on this site.

The Magic Sex Number is 13

Saturday, April 5th, 2008

A new study out of Washington by Canadian and American scientists revealed that the best sex lasts only minutes. Soon to be published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine and reported in Science Daily, this study is good for those of us putting our ’sexual skills’ out there not knowing how good long or short we should actually go. This reminds me of a time when the male half of a couple approached me bragging about his ten plus hours sexual escapade the week-end before. I didn’t say anything at the time, but I secretly wondered to myself if I was strange for thinking that is just not my idea of having a good time. Here is a story based on this study, which includes a great comment about the death of ‘male enhancement’ spam messages!
