After investing time into researching this story we ran into a wall. It’s the first time it’s happened and we aren’t sure what to do so we present what we have found so far. As you can see by the bad advertisement included in this post, the only details available are the name of the event (Milf Week), the location (Hedonism III) and the dates (January 2009). Not sure how to go about booking this trip and it took some digging around to find the travel agents organizing this group and there it was once again. Since being in the lifestyle it seems that for every hundred people you meet, one of them will be a travel agent and promise you great rates if you book with them. This trip is no different, being organized by a ‘lifestyle couple’ that has a really amateurish website promoting the entire trip. Great news, we found that they have a Yahoo group for swingers attending the trip to meet others going on the trip. After two requests for access to this group so we could finish writing this short article, and clearly told them we would be promoting their group on this site, this is what they sent us: “We do like to keep the site solely for those who signed up with us. However we are sure we will be easily identifiable and look forward to meeting you in Hedo”. Sounds a little strange to me that they would chose to not have free advertising from another lifestyle business. What are they hiding? Are there actually any members on the yahoo group at all to discuss with? Hmmm, is the economy crash in the US causing this group to have low bookings just like every other travel agent in the country? This could be a sign of things to come.

The Caliente nude resort located in Land O’ Lakes, Florida has been handed a suspension by the American Association for Nude Recreation (AANR) for hosting lifestyle friendly parties. It seems, the problem is they advertise these events on websites that are swinger friendly, and the association, which bills itself and it’s members as family friendly has started an investigation on the matter. Dixie Does Florida is the tag line but the website also points to Lifestyles Florida and a clothing optional splash party is what you can expect. May 15 to 18, 2008 in the Orlando area is where all the fun will be taking place. As mentioned, this is a clothing optional pool party with nightly entertainment, theme parties, lunch at the Parrot Head grill and of course play rooms. On the site, you can join others in the chat room, every Tuesday night at 9pm as well as join their mailing list. Several features on the website currently are not in working condition so save yourself some time and skip the guest book, contest section as well as meet and greets. As a bonus, because they don’t have a liquor license, the event is BYOB which would allow you to treat yourself to your regular preferred drink(s). This is just the kind of place that we would fit right in with cabins, RV lots, tent spots, permanent lots, snowbird rates, and even daily entrance fees. Pool, club, food, drinks, and even bike rallies are just some of the offerings that Live Oak Resort has to offer. Website has lots of great pictures as well as more information than you will need in order to decide if this place will be right for you. And, it passes our number criteria for a resort, to have the resort map available online so we can study it before arriving…job well done!
