Alan R. Levy published a very interesting story in the Yale Law Journal with a title sure to get your attention: ‘How “Swingers” Might Save Hollywood from a Federal Pornography Statute‘. It seems that in the US, pornographers and the like have been fighting and losing the ‘proof of age’ legal battle that has plagued them for years. In a funny turn of things, it seems that swingers have more power than pornographers, they took the law to the upper courts and actually managed to do what the sex industry has tried and failed. Sometimes you just want to reach out over the web and ask some people what they are thinking when they do certain things. This is one of those posts where I’m sorry to have to give some harsh feedback about a swingers website, but I am so annoyed at this point I just have to put it out there for the universe to do with it what it will. We’ve been members in the past and to be blunt, this site offered nothing for us as there were not many members from our neck of the woods on the site. After being members for a while, some long awaited updates were released which in all honesty seemed to be more exciting to the owners than to us, the members, but hey, that’s just our opinion amongst many.

Kasidie is a new kid on the block when it comes to lifestyle related offerings but is here to play with the big boys. We have been members of this site since the beginning and can say that the content here is never stale. The site, just like a magazine gets new photos and content updated on a regular basis, which include such fun things as crossword puzzles, unicorn and couple of the month. As well as an on-going invitation to apply to become a Kasidie girl. Great looking site, well designed with easy navigation but promises of an up-coming forum have been there since day one as well as when you click to meet other couples, you are given a choice to visit some third party swingers websites. The only way to actually view profiles of other couples on this site is to rate photos in the flash’em section. You can then click to view the profile via the couples flash’em photo. However, there is still no way to actually contact someone since that feature is currently not activated. I’m sure this was built-into the site for future growth, but it would be nice to know what they have in mind. Well worth the visit, bookmark and come back monthly.
