It seems that many lifestyle webmasters are trying to take advantage of the CBS Swingtown forum by posting ADs in their signatures. Take for example some members as well as the owner of the Swingers Board who have gone on to promote themselves on the Swingtown forums. However, they quickly found out that their posts are getting deleted. Most wonder why, some keep doing it and others even brag about being covert and changing their online identity to be able to post an AD to their favorite board as someone else. It doesn’t take long to find out that they are breaking the rules, a large white box above all posts clearly states: Please obey the rules of this community (no spam, ads, rudeness, profanity, adult content or irrelevant posts), but most of all, have fun. This makes for a fun time watching the swingers post ADs and then I’m sure, the non-swingers hit the ‘report a violation’ button…round and round we go. One post still alive at the time of this writting was from the people organizing Swingfest 2008, it was still there with a signature that clearly advertises a link to the Swingfest site…it may be interesting to see how much longer the post will remain up?

Hot off the presses, this just in from the fine folks over at the Swingers Board: Now that we have the NEW Swingers Board tshirts we are ready to give them away! That’s right! The only way to get one is to win one! In addition to regular contests on the forums and throughout the site, we will be giving away a Swingers Board tshirt to every new member that hits 100 posts (so if you’ve already hit 100 posts you’ll have to win it another way), but if you don’t have 100 posts yet, here’s a good excuse to get involved! Well, it had to be done and someone went and did it, taking everyone’s favourite catch phrase from the community and using it as a catch line. There is a forum for big people and their admirers to gather and discuss the finer things in life. Meet Chubby Swingers - Not Ken & Barbie! A small but growing community of some 9 thousand members and almost just as many posts. The new members gallery is a popular feature and at first glance, people aren’t being shy about posting their best candid poses. Like many sites, this one has a calendar of events available for members to post but it goes ignored as there are no entries to be found in the near future.

It’s probably safe to assume that everyone loves to win something, but have you ever won anything lifestyle related? Now might be your chance since the Swingers Board is holding three different contests at the time of this writing. If you think you can do better than the examples shown below, you can help them design a new t-shirt. Or be the three hundred thousand person to post and run a chance to win a fifty dollar Amazon gift card, anyone that posts before that date also gets a chance to win their own gift certificate. This is the first post for the new site Maple Swingers. I have several dozen topics to upload to the site once I get the configuration, layouts and colours all pretty and everything.
