Club Menage a Quatre or simply Club M4 to close friends, is set to open their doors for the first time on Saturday, June 7th, 2008 @ 8pm. The party will include a full diner buffet as well as 10,000 square feet of space for you to party in. They boast of having a locker room with full size lockers, on-site parking, multiple play rooms as well as group play areas, two poles and a private art gallery. The site seems to be a work in progress as the image gallery and video gallery are not functional as of this writing and the rest of the information is sparse at best. But who could blame them, who has time to update and promote a grand opening event on the web when they are probably madly making last minute preparations to have the club ready for the big Saturday party. Oh, one last thing, for those non french speaking readers, Menage a Quatre simply means a ‘Foursome’ in french, now you know.

A reader from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada writes in to ask if every swing club is theme happy like their local club Intimate Times. The message goes on to say that it is quite a nice club with a good crowd but they could sure use a break from the constant barrage of theme nights. A quick look at their calendar also shows a blatant disregard for copyright laws in regards to using so many well known images to promote their events but I digress. To be honest, this author could not locate a single party that was not tied to some kind of theme. Also, on a more puzzling note, the message went on to say that apparently the DJ is lost in a world of his own, headbanging to music only known to a select few and groaning at the thought of playing a request for mainstream music. Maybe it’s just us, but doesn’t the DJ make or break a club in many big cities around the world? One final warning, this site is being built like those bad home sites from the late 90s and is really hard on the eyes…blinking text, highlighted text, underlined text that aren’t click-able, bad backgrounds, and when is the last time you saw frames on a site lol? Surely this is being done on purpose to achieve some kind of nostalgic image, I refuse to believe that this is a serious website and should be taken as comic relief for it’s members.

But when in Vegas you expect to be entertained and Terry Archer is the best Neil Diamond impersonator, so you should not miss his shows running from Thursday through Saturdays only at the Red Rooster. This famous club hosts parties seven nights a week and has been hosting private parties since the early eighties so you can be sure they understand what it takes to run a swingers party. Paul Stocker says that he saw Josef Fritzl and his wife at a swingers club by the name of Caribik (translated to English), near Amstetten Austria, in the late 90s. Now the rest of the world probably would just read this story and frown without spotting the questionable content. His wife watched in a corner while he had sex with a younger woman?!? Excuse me, but unless European clubs work differently than North American clubs who is this young lady that was so in need that she chose Josef over the zillion other single guys available that night? A little more detail is available from the story published in the Sun. So many questions, but man it goes to prove that even normal looking swingers can be freaks, weirdos, or plain insane in the brain…caveat emptor.

That’s the topic of this poll published on the pollmonkey.com website and the findings are interesting to say the least. The first thing you should notice is that because almost 4 thousand people have voted, this is most likely a close proximity to the opinions in any town. Over half of the voters were either in favour of opening a swingers club in their town or didn’t care either way as it wasn’t their business. One can only guess that the religiously headstrong few that voted against are slowly losing their grip on so called morality. Down with Vanilla’s who speak out against us I say lol!

It’s not often that I poke fun at people, but it’s going to start today because I am just beside myself at the ignorance of some folk. First, the story and then on to down right stupidity that Orange County Register readers post as comments. Gary Nalder and Robin Wood are moving their club and down-sizing, so the ‘estate’ has been put up for sale on craigslist.  Club Amnesty (the website is currently offline) is yet another tragic shutdown by the powers that be but the readers oh my how they show their ignorance. spitzer09 is just off her rocker and has absolutely no clue to what real life is really like and audiogirl would have us believe that a swingers story is not news just because it holds no interest for her. Well audiogirl, I guess the fact that we’ve covered it here and a Google news search finds 10 sources for the story means it’s enough of a news story after all. Finally, ocnikki brought up a good point, what would a ‘club’ need a 600 pound ice maker for? I mean, duh who needs to make 600 lbs of ice using little dinky ice trays? While these simpletons are gossiping about what goes on behind closed doors, at least the rest of us are enjoying our lives, having great sex rather than speculate about how it must be to swing. Things that make you go hmmm…

Zach Everson has a way with words and creates a city sex guide including locations on a Google map that rivals all others this reviewer has come across. The author makes a note about the clubs all self describing themselves as being classy…skip to the comment section and you’ll know just what one reader’s version of classy is. Lynnwood, Washington is where you will find the New Horizons swingers resort. Wednesday night potluck parties and they also include a continental breakfast for guest staying overnight. Some of the ammenitites you will find here on location are large multi-leveled main dining room, three large dance floors, one indoor and one outdoor hot tub, showers, changing area, lockers, video room, conversation pit with fireplace, massage table, many couples also enjoy sunbathing on the beautiful grounds during long weekend parties. Guest visiting from outside the Pacific Northwest are not required to become members.

Ft Lauderdale, Florida residents are one lucky bunch as they get to attend Wednesday evening events at the local lifestyle Trapeze club. With gourmet buffet including breakfast as well and seating if you are in the mood for dining. It is however a BYOB club and they do enforce a strict dress code except on casual Sundays. Open and private party rooms, lounge, lockers, shower, valet parking, dance floor, DJ with big powerful sound system…it’s 6000 sq. feet of party space! They have a newsletter and a section devoted to highlighting members who offer services to other members which is very cool, bonus points on that idea.

A Dallas, Texas swingers club located in a suburban home in Duncanville, has angered the local residents, but what else is new. Even though Maple Swingers are all for swingers clubs, we have an issue with anyone operating an illegal business, so we hope they can sort out their legal woes in the near future.
