Problems With Newest Lifestyle Resort

You’ve read about it on this site already but it seems that all is not going smoothly over at the newest Illusions resort. Here is the latest news from the resort: “The new Lifestyles Disco Club, delayed because of delivery problems (doesn’t it always happen!) is close to completion. The missing items are now in Mexico City waiting for delivery to Cozumel and Aura. The disco will be simply beautiful, enticing!

There will be many group tours in 2008 and other groups are booking as you read this. Traditionally, the group tours, such as over the 4th of July, Halloween and the Holiday Season, are sellouts. The message is - make your reservations as early as you can!

April marked the beginning of Aura Cozumel as a lifestyles couples’ resort. The April promotion special of the 7th Night/8th Day Free when 6 nights are paid has been extended for all reservations with arrival in May.

Problems With Newest Lifestyle Resort

A delicate point - how shall we put it? The builders and owners of Aura signed  an agreement with Wyndham before inviting LSO/Illusions to take over Aura as a lifestyle oriented resort. This has caused some confusion, especially during this transition period. One can book through Wyndham but, without booking through Lifestyles or one of the appointed lifestyles oriented agencies, clients will not have access to the Lifestyles Disco Club or the clothing-optional Solarium. The Lifestyles-Aura ID wristband is required, not the current Aura black band.

Aura Cozumel is a needed and welcome addition to the resorts that welcome lifestyles couples. Aura fills the need often expressed by couples who have been to other resorts many times, that of a truly elegant 5 Star resort destination. Adding to this delight, Aura is situated on the 2nd most famous scuba destination in the world. It is the world’s most popular cruise ship destination with as many as 12 cruise ships docking at any one time, affording passengers the fun and shopping of Cozumel’s only town, San Miguel.

Golf anyone? Cozumel Country Club, a PGA course, is a dream for golfers. Rather than the typical parallel greens, each fairway is like an island onto itself with greenery, trees and even the occasional crocodile waiting for a golfer to retrieve his errant ball from a pond. By the way, Aura guests get a 40% discount off green fees.”
