Sometimes you just want to reach out over the web and ask some people what they are thinking when they do certain things. This is one of those posts where I’m sorry to have to give some harsh feedback about a swingers website, but I am so annoyed at this point I just have to put it out there for the universe to do with it what it will. We’ve been members in the past and to be blunt, this site offered nothing for us as there were not many members from our neck of the woods on the site. After being members for a while, some long awaited updates were released which in all honesty seemed to be more exciting to the owners than to us, the members, but hey, that’s just our opinion amongst many.
Here is the reason why it gets under my skin, when you register a dozen different website names and point them all to the same site, that’s called search engine spamming and you can get your site banned for doing so. The simple fact that they do this quite openly tells us that possibly they have been mislead by some greedy webmaster, or they are doing this because it works for them and gets them traffic, even though it’s against the rules. Can’t recommend that you visit a site that resorts to spamming to get business. No, it’s not email spamming, but there are many more ways to conduct yourself badly on the Internet, and this is a big one. That said, it is the reason as to why you will not find any links or business names in this post. Don’t even get me started on the comment about how FireFox is not stable and they can’t be bothered to make their site standards compliant so that things stop ‘breaking’. One last rant before I step down from my soap box…the latest newsletter invited us to attend their big party at a club…took me no less than three clicks and to scroll half-way down the page of the club’s website before a *location* to said party could be found, sheeesh! If Sandi or Ted are reading this article, dump your dummy domains and I’ll write a proper review with links for your site because I do feel that what you have been doing for a very long time now does add benefit to the lifestyle.
